Heavenly Ski Resort overlooks beautiful Lake Tahoe and is accessible via a Gondola in downtown Stateline, NV. The slopes at Heavenly are in both California and Nevada. An observation deck, which can be reached by the Gondola, is located just below the ski area and offers magnificent views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountain range. At over 6,000 feet above sea level, this breathtaking experience will last a lifetime!

  Big Snow in Tahoe!

Heavenly Ski Resort is a short distance from Carson City, NV and Virginia City, NV. Yosemite National Park is only one hour and twenty minutes away. Just fifteen minutes from Heavenly is Zephyr Cove which offers paddle wheel boat rides, sunrise cruises, sunset dinner cruises, parasailing, and a public beach.

Lake Tahoe carriage rides are awesome! For over 30 years, a Tahoe family has delighted visitors from around the world with history, fun and nostalgia. Their Carriages are pulled by either beautiful 2,000 pound Blond Belgium horses or one of their rare American- Russian Baskhir Curlies, all of which have been featured in Pasadena's Tournament of Rose Parade over the past few years. On a warm summer day, take a romantic ride in one of their antique European Carriages. See Lake Tahoe and the wonders of nature as you have never seen it before with a Borges Historian as your guide. He will take you past Edgewood Golf Course and through a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. As you travel along Lake Tahoe, your carriage driver will share with you bits of Tahoe history.

After a day of skiing at Heavenly Ski Resort, experience an old fashioned sleigh ride in one of several antique European Sleighs. Your Sleigh Ride adventure will take you over the meadow, through the woods to grandmother's house and to a peaceful place overlooking one of Lake Tahoe's most spectacular views. Be sure to bring your camera - a Borges storyteller will snap a photo of you and your companions on the sleigh with breathtaking Lake Tahoe in the background. During the exciting ride, your sleigh driver will point out local landmarks. The five handmade sleighs vary in size from the cozy two-seater to a festive twenty passenger sleigh. Each sleigh is equipped with warm blankets for snuggling.

Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Carson Valley while enjoying a hay wagon ride along a 100 year 'Old Country Ranch' trail. Relax in the shade of Cottonwood trees with the sounds of a babbling brook. Take a stroll around a natural pond, feed the fish and enjoy the thrill of an old fashioned rope swing! Refresh yourself with some Limon Aid. Listen to the Old Time Stories of the Pony Express, Stagecoaches and Indians. Learn about the Native Wildlife and Marsh Lands and Dream of days gone by… All this at the Pony Express Stables!
